Rajasthan GK includes Rajasthan Geography, Rajasthan History, Art & Culture of Rajasthan (According to the syllabus of LSA recruitment exam)

Livestock Assistant (LSA) recruitment examination for Animal Husbandry Department (Rajasthan) is organized by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB), Jaipur. The minimum qualification for the post of Livestock Assistant is senior secondary with physics, chemistry and biology or agriculture and one year/ two years training of livestock assistant from an institution recognised by the govt. of Rajasthan.

Total 120 objective type questions (80 questions from veterinary science & 40 questions from Rajasthan GK which includes Rajasthan Geography, Rajasthan History, Art and Culture of Rajasthan) are asked in this examination.

Animal Husbandry Diploma Program (AHDP) is a two year duration diploma course in the field of animal husbandry for candidates who have passed 12^th Science with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or agriculture subjects. Admission shall be done on merit drawn on the basis of marks of Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent. AHDP colleges/institutes of Rajasthan are affiliated to RAJUVAS, Bikaner.

AHDP I^st Year complete course includes five basic subjects related to animal husbandry named as:-

1.      Introductory Veterinary Anatomy

2.      Introductory Veterinary Physiology & Biochemistry

3.      Introductory Animal Breeding & Genetics

4.      Introductory Animal Management

5.      Animal Husbandry Extension
